Package Unit Pricing
The packaged HVAC unit houses all parts of the system in one metal cabinet. The evaporator coil, condenser, and compressor are all housed together to save space from being used inside.The efficiency of air conditioners is often rated by the seasonal energy efficiency ratio (SEER). The SEER rating of a unit is the cooling output during a typical cooling-season divided by the total electric energy input during the same period. The higher the unit’s SEER rating the more energy efficient it is.
A 14 Seer Packaged Unit. A Straight-Cool system comes with a corresponding electrical heat kit. A Heat Pump system comes with a corresponding emergency electrical heat kit.
